Mesa Grill Restaurant Info and Reservations (2024)

OUTSTANDING MEAL!!!!!!!!

We recently ate at Mesa Grill in Las Vegas, and it was truly one of the best meals if not the best, that we've ever had. The waiter was friendly, informative and helpful, as was all the rest of the wait staff. The food was truly outstanding, what with the presentation, the taste...everything. I truly have nothing but good, to say about this experience, and next time I'm in Vegas I'll definetly be stopping there again!

Spice and lively ambience

Bobby Flay's twist on American food brings spice to traditional dishes. New Mexican spice rubbed pork tenderloin with sweet potato tamale is excellent (kitchen a bit inconsistent in how it's cooked. Medium comes out in a variety of red to pink) and must be tried. Gala apple salad (when in season) one of the best twists on salads I have ever had. ( I'm a salad snob) Service is impeccable. Variety of great starters. Modern decor with visible kitchen.

Mesa Grill Restaurant

This was the second time to this restaurant for dinner. It was excellent. I love the southwest twist to the food.

Delicious 3 course meal!!!

Bobby Flay is the master!! I was so excited to eat here that I made the reservation 5 months in advance (for New Year's Eve). It completely exceeded my expectations! The amuse bouche may have been my favorite part! It was so fresh and delicious!! It doesn't matter what you order on the menu, because EVERYTHING is delicious! Every person in our party of 4 were extremely happy and satisfied with our meals and the desserts were fantastic!! I enjoyed it so much that I will definately be returning next time we're in Vegas!! Can't wait!!! It was the perfect meal!!

Otherworldly delicious steak

I planned the experience to eat at Mesa Grill in LV when I was there on business in 2008. I looked at the menu online and had my selections made before I even got to Vegas. Making a reservation really helped, because I saw a few people waiting to get in, while I was seated immediately like a VIP. I had the Tiger Shrimp Corn Tamale to start, it was sweet and savory, the only thing wrong with it was that it was gone too fast. The Chipotle Glazed Ribeye was quite simply the best piece of red meat I have ever eaten. I have told many people since that that entree has the ability to alter your perception of space-time. It was so good, it felt like time stopped. I'm serious. With the ribeye, I had the chile relleno which was also delicious but the steak was so incredible I can't say that I remember the finer details of the relleno. I had a nice glass of red wind with dinner, but for dessert I ordered the warm chocolate cake and a snifter of Hennessy Paradis Cognac. Yes, I know, the digestif cost more than the entree, but it was totally worth it. I am a cognac connoisseur, and I believe the Paradis to be an exceptional one, and a bargan at $75, as most charge $125 to pour it. The pour was generous and was a stellar finish to a remarkable dining experience. The Mesa Grill is laid out like a cafeteria, but it's one seriously classy cafe. Honestly, the open kitchen is facinating to see the heads of busy chefs bouncing back and forth, hurriedly preparing plates. For the Food Network generation, it's almost a necessity. The waitstaff is friendly and skilled. I love the woodwork on the ceiling and the other patrons were very friendly chatting each other up about what we were having and what brought us to LV. Mesa Grill was a great experience for me and if you like Southwest Cusine, I'm sure you will enjoy it too. - CK

very good food and service

very good food and service!

You the man Bobby!

New mexican rub pork tenderloin.... the blue cornbread...Holly guacamole! Been there and did it more than once and every time leaving with the same satisfaction. Spicy and highly recommended. In regards to the gent unhappy with the uptight thingy there.... well he's actually right a little bit... the issue is not with the service itself but more to do with the hostesses in front....

"Mixed Feelings, Good & Bad"

This was my wife and I second visit to Mesa. Our first visit was for dinner and everything was excellent. Our second visit was not as good. At least for me it wasn't. I had the yucetan chicken tacos and they were way too overcooked and dry. Very bland too. The grilled onions below the chicken were cold and looked like they were sitting around for a while. The chicken that I got for tacos were so small too. There were only 3 very small skewers that were supposed to be my tacos. I was not at all happy with my lunch. My wife had the tuna club sandwich and loved it. I will not ever return for lunch. It was way too expensive for me to pay for low quality like that. Sorry Bobby, you need to step it up more than that.

Caffeteria

The restaurant is built like a caffeteria for crying out loud. The food is so overseasoned You can't taste anything but spice. The staff is so unbelievably uptight, it's steak and tacos for christs sake, I guess that's what you get with a chef that couldn't even graduate from public high school. I don't know what the one in New York is like but in Vegas My celebrity chef is gonna stay Mario Batali.
