| The guy below is chipping out mortar from between the bricks that was a result of the form. This is a classic Mexican difference, we would either lay small half round strips as the bricks were laid, or would use a pneumatic chipper to "strike" the mortar lines, this fellow worked all day yesterday and started again today manually chipping out the joints to dress them.
